Spinal Manipulation also termed as spinal manipulative therapy is performed to treat headaches, neck and shoulder pains. It combines various massages, moving and jolting joints, exercises and physical therapy. The therapy is specifically designed to relieve pressure on joints, enhance nerve function and reduce inflammation.
The Spinal Manipulation technique is also used by our physiotherapists to treat other disorders such as sinus problems and menstrual pain. There are several spinal manipulation techniques practiced by our chiropractors or physiotherapists. Depending on your health issue we use either powerful technique such as spinal manipulation or a gentle one known as spinal mobilization. In addition to these techniques, our experienced physiotherapists use electric stimulation, ice and heat therapy, various traction devices to stretch the spine, and ultrasound for deep tissue heating.
