PMS is Premenstrual Syndrome. A week before your period starts ,you must have noticed bloating,mood swings, headaches or other emotional or physical changes. These monthly symptoms are known as premenstrual syndrome,or PMS.Over 85% of women experience this pain or symptoms every month.

Symptoms of PMS:

  • Acne: Acne is one of the most common signs often found in teenage girls. It's due to hormonal changes which impacts glands in the skin to produce more sebum. It also acts as a reminder that your period is yet to come.
  • Pain: PMS triggers wide range of pains such as Back Pain, Headaches, Tender Breasts, Joint Pain
  • Mood Swings: The worst part during period days are mood swings for women. They feel like crying, irritability, anger, depression and anxiety may come and go. Sometimes due to this Women's are unable to concentrate on work or  have trouble with memory

How to Manage PMS:

1.Exercise

Exercise is actually a great way to deal with PMS. It will help you to be calm. Not only on period days but you should exercise daily for at least 30 minutes. If you cannot reach out to gym then at least go for a long walk every morning. It will help you burn calories and  help you to boost your mood.

2.Take Diet Rich in B Vitamins

Foods which have Vitamin B can help women's to fight PMS. According to research, women who ate foods high in thiamine (pork, Brazil nuts) and riboflavin (eggs, dairy products) are less likely to develop PMS.

3.Foods to Avoid

You should avoid having these  food in excess manner during period days

  • Salt: which can increase bloating
  • Caffeine:which can cause irritability
  • Sugar: which can make cravings worse
  • Alcohol:which can affect mood

4.Herbal Remedies

Some of the herbal Remedies through which women's get relief is chasteberry, black cohosh, and evening primrose oil. But still you should consult your doctor before trying these herbs.
